People/HR Manager (Part-Time)

WCCF is hiring a newly formed People/HR Manager position to help the organization continue to build a people and HR infrastructure that can grow with the organization while keeping the mission and culture of the organization in the forefront of everyone’s mind.
This is a part-time role (20 hours a week) that is open to flexible scheduling arrangements that work with the best person for the role. This is an in-office position in our Grand Junction office with an opportunity for hybrid work.
This position has a hiring range of $33.65 – $40.38 per hour and is eligible for paid time off and retirement benefits. It is also eligible for employee paid dental, vision, and short term & long term disability insurance.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, approachable professional who can balance people-centered care with operational discipline. We are looking for someone who can be a thought partner for our leadership team and have strong partnerships with all our team members to help bring our mission to life on the Western Slope of Colorado.

About BAM!
BAM! Business Art Mentorship is a youth-centered program of Trail Lamp Youth Services in Grand Junction, Colorado. We create safe, affirming spaces where underserved and LGBTQ2S+ youth build confidence, leadership, connection, and future opportunities through art, entrepreneurship, and community. Our work is grounded in equity, trauma-informed practice, and the belief that every young person deserves to feel seen, supported, and valued.
Position Summary
The Program Coordinator helps keep BAM!’s youth programs organized and running smoothly. This role combines behind-the-scenes coordination with in-person support during programs and events. The Program Coordinator reports to the Program Manager and works closely with the Executive Director.
This role is a strong fit for someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable working with youth, and able to manage details while staying focused on the mission. The ideal candidate communicates clearly, follows through, works well independently, and shows up as a steady, affirming presence for youth and team members.

Artist Mentor

BAM! is seeking creative, dependable, and youth-centered Artist Mentors to design and lead art workshops. This role is ideal for artists who are passionate about their craft, enjoy working with young people, and want to make a meaningful impact through mentorship and creative engagement.
Artist Mentors help create spaces where underserved and LGBTQ+ youth can explore art, build confidence, strengthen connections, and gain exposure to new creative pathways. We are looking for mentors who can lead engaging, hands-on workshops while helping youth feel welcome, supported, and encouraged.

Youth Mentor
BAM! is seeking a dedicated Youth Mentor to play a crucial role in supporting underserved and LGBTQ+ youth during Art programming. This position focuses on mentorship, connection, and resource navigation, helping young people feel seen, supported, and empowered. The Youth Mentor will collaborate closely with a team to provide coordinated support, foster belonging, and expand youth access to meaningful opportunities and community resources.

Stewardship & Outreach Coordinator

Position Summary: The Stewardship & Outreach Coordinator coordinates Colorado Canyons Association’s (CCA) stewardship and outreach efforts. The Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing outreach and volunteer programming within Mesa, Delta, and Montrose counties. The coordinator is also tasked with assisting in CCA’s coalition building efforts related to the West Slope Outdoor Volunteers. The coordinator should expect to spend roughly 25% of their time/effort in the field, while working some nights and weekends. The position reports to the Development and Communications Manager.

Finance Coordinator
United Way of Mesa County is looking for a part-time Finance Coordinator to manage the organization’s database of donors and compile a monthly accounts receivable report for UWMC’s bookkeeper. The position will provide timely reports through the CRM for community impact efforts and accounting needs. This position will also provide donors with timely and vitally important shows of gratitude and tax letters.

Development Manager
Lead the planning and implementation of strategies to drive overall growth in revenue for United Way of Mesa County (UWMC). Build effective, on-going, segmented engagement strategies to enhance diversified revenue through annual workplace campaign participation and giving, individual gifts, corporate/foundation gifts and memberships, sponsorships, and grants. Provide the necessary planning, analysis and follow-up to achieve fundraising goals. Represent UWMC in the community via networking activities and with frequent public speaking to stakeholders and at selected community events.
